What are the file formats for the kits?
All of the kits have the papers in .jpg format. All embellishment elements such as tags, alphas, overlays and such are in .png format to retain transparency for ease in layering. These are universally accepted formats and should work in just about any image editing software you might have. Our layered page templates are in the .psd file format which is the Photoshop/Photoshop Elements default. Several other programs can open this format as well, just check the manual from your program to see if it will work for you.
All kits are saved as a ZIP file, so you will need an un-zip utility program to open them before use.
What quality are the page kits?
All of our kits are created at 300 dpi with the papers being a full 12″ x 12″ (3600 x 3600). They can be resized and recolored as you wish.
What if the download takes forever or if my connection is really slow?
Digital Scrapbooking kits can sometimes be quite large. If you are on dial-up or you find your connection timing out before the download is finished, please contact us at scrap.in.a.flash@gmail.com (after we have received your payment, of course!) and we can send you links to smaller files.
Are there usage restrictions for these kits?
No, we are unique in the fact that you may use any of our products to create your own items for personal or commercial use. We only ask that you do not resell any of our items, they must become an integral part of your new creation and not be individually extractable or copy-able. We also ask that you provide credit to KayCee Studios either in the form of a link to this website or in text within your terms of use or signature for the item you have created. What can I create with these kits?
Although they are designed for use as digital scrapbook pages and albums, our kits and supplies can be used in a variety of creative ways. You can use them for creating web and blog headers, blinkies, signature files, booth banners for online venues such as eBay, Bonanzle and Etsy. You can also print them out to create hybrid or craft projects using traditional methods such as decoupage, scrapbooking, or card making. the possibilities are endless! Have fun! What payment methods are accepted?
We accept payment through PayPal online, or you can mail a Money Order/Cashier’s Check payment to us at: L-5 Enterprises, 6650 W State St #D231, Wauwatosa, WI 53213 Download links to the files will not be sent until complete payment has been received.
Is there sales tax on my purchase?
The state of Wisconsin (where we are located) requires that we charge sales tax on all purchases of digital goods no matter where you are located. Our prices all include sales tax, so there are no additional charges, the price you see is what you’ll pay.
Are my online payments secure?
All online payments are secure and encrypted for your protection.
What shipping methods do you offer?
Most of our items are digital in nature and therefore will be sent via digital download. You will receive a link to immediately download your products once payment has been received. For kits on CD, they will be shipped via USPS First Class Mail, and generally will arrive about 2-5 business days after your payment has been received.
Do you allow refunds?
Our items are all digital in nature, and as such there are no refunds once the download links or CDs have been sent.
